Eine kleine Übersicht zum Thema Trigonometrie, wichtig als eines der Hauptthemen des mittleren Bildungsabschlusses (MBA).
A fun and creative way to start the year and decorate the classroom!
Ask students to create and design their own welcome banner. Supply each student with either a colour or black and white copy of the file (each student has a profile triangle and a "welcome to our class" triangle) Encourage students to use their imagination, supplying them with markers, coloured pencils, sparkles, and any other material they could use to decorate their triangle. Once all students have completed their triangles, teacher can help students glue them onto string/ribbon/etc and hang across the classroom or across a bulletin board. You can be as creative as you want. We loved alternating triangles so that one triangle says, "welcome to our class" while the next is a student's profile triangle!
We hope you have fun creating your own banner!

Batch 1 of our beautiful conversation cards includes 20 thought-provoking questions on the topics of home and life. Each batch can be used on its own or in combination with our other batches. Each topic card is colour coordinated making it easy for students and teachers alike to group or arrange cards.
We love laminating our cards and collecting and displaying them in a “conversation box” in our classroom. These cards can be used as a warm up activity both in ESL and in regular classrooms. They can also be used as writing prompts.
Each card contains a stunning picture that will inspire students and bring colour into the classroom!
We thank you for purchasing our product and hope you enjoy using it as much as we do! We take great pride in creating useful, artistic and educational products for our fellow teachers and would love to hear your feedback.
It's that time of year again! Get your students motivated and ease them into the new school year with this fun Back to School Pamphlet!
Included in this pamphlet is a fun ice-breaker activity called, "Autographs Please!", encouraging students to get to know one another as well as a student summer profile activity whereby students get the opportunity to write (and then share to the class) about their summer and new school year goals!
Happy teaching everyone!
In der Unterrichtssequenz Märchen kann über ein gelesenes Märchen oder z.B. für das Lieblingsmärchen ein Steckbrief ausgefüllt werden, der auch Grundlage für einen kleinen Vortrag und zur Klassenzimmergestaltung genutzt werden kann.
Das bekannte Spiel Activity rund um das Thema Märchen. Kann zu Beginn oder am Ende der Unterrichtssequenz "Märchen" eingesetzt werden.
A worksheet intended to prompt students to discuss the subject of adventure while building vocabulary and overall speaking skills.
Teacher can begin lesson by eliciting vocabulary words/phrases, etc. students associate with the word "adventure". Teacher can write students' ideas on the board for the class.
Teacher can then introduce the "adventure" worksheet (individual copies are best so students can have the opportunity to write notes should they choose so.)
Teacher can first introduce the vocabulary worksheet to students. The aim is to get students to use and consolidate the new vocabulary they've learnt. Teacher can elicit various forms of each word and encourage students to write or give oral examples of sentences with new vocab before the second part of the worksheet.
For the second page, the teacher typically chooses one student to read a question aloud, and elicits answers from numerous students. The goal is to encourage students to speak as much as possible and use the key vocabulary from page one in their answers if possible. If students would like to elaborate on a question- encourage them! Teacher can write new vocabulary words on board or can make suggestions for new vocabulary words that can be used in context. As homework, students can write an answer to one of the questions and elaborate.

It's that time of year again! The first day of school offers a great opportunity for students to get to know one another, to discuss the experiences they had over the summer but also to look back on the year past and the school year ahead. It is a chance for students to think about what they've learnt in the past and how they'd like to utilize this knowledge to their advantage this year. This file aims to encourage students to do all the above in a fun and relaxed manner! My suggestion is to put students into groups of 3-4 for this activity. However, should the class be smaller or bigger, the groups can be adjusted.
Some teachers like to file this away in a student portfolio, while others like to put up students' files on a classroom board for the first week of school- both to decorate the room but also to encourage students to look at each other's thoughts and goals for the year ahead!
Happy teaching to all my fellow teachers and thank you for taking a look at our products!
Classroom Belief Posters
Thank you very much for choosing English Education Lab! We’ve created these unique classroom belief posters to inspire students and remind them (and us as teachers!) of what to focus on during the year. These posters can be blown up and printed on bulletin board paper or can simply be printed on photo paper if you’d like. Either way, they will look wonderful on your classroom wall!
We always choose to put these up at the beginning of the school year and open up a discussion on what expectations we have of ourselves, of each other and of our class as a whole. We have found it’s a fantastic way to get everyone on the same page and off to a great start!
We sincerely hope you enjoy these posters as much as we have and please feel free to contact us or send us an email if you have any questions or concerns. We would love to hear from you.
Animal File Teacher Instructions
Our main goal in creating this new series of files is to take a departure from traditional children’s teaching materials that are often dry and unappealing and encourage students to learn in a hands-on manner using a modern and exciting layout.
Our recommendation is to always begin each new file with a brainstorming session whereby the name of the animal can be written on the board and students are invited up to the board to add any information they may already know regarding the animal. Our files begin with an “information section” introducing the animal that students are learning about. The file covers various aspects of the animal including physical appearance, habitat, behaviour, nesting, and conservation. A list of fun facts is also added at the end of this section to round off the information given. New or potentially new vocabulary words will be highlighted in the text and definitions can be found on the following page. This is students’ first exposure to either the new or inactive vocabulary introduced in this file. We place great importance on students learning new words in context and encourage them to use these words actively throughout the lesson.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns.
Teachers can then review vocab words and illicit their various forms from the class before commencing with the fill in the gap activity. Once students are ready, they can attempt the activity by filling in the gaps with a form of one of the vocabulary words. This will be their second exposure to the target vocabulary and will give them the opportunity to review the animal facts outlined in the file.
After completing and correcting the activity, the class can move on to the “research and discover” component. Encouraging students to sharpen their research skills and build on their knowledge on the subject in a fun and creative way, put students into group of 3-4 and explain that the first group that answers all questions will be the winner. Teachers can be as creative as they’d like, incorporating a class point system or other reward system. The goal here is to help consolidate students’ knowledge of the material while encouraging them to explore the topic further. This activity will help students build on their research skills, encourage them to learn how to successfully work in groups and foster an interest in world issues.
This file can be used in combination with our other animal files or can be used on its own as a springboard/ introduction to the topic of animal conservation and/or animal welfare. The teacher should also encourage students to have an open discussion about endangered species and what each of us can do to make a difference. This file should be used as part of a class unit to encourage students to become active and responsible members of society.
